FAITH OF GOD-BY TAURAI MAKADHO

The first verse of the eleventh chapter of the book of Hebrews describes faith as a substance of things hoped for though not yet seen. Our faith in God is hinged on the truth and reality that Jesus Christ is the salvation of God and by believing in His holy name we shall be established in God for eternity. All things we do in the name of the Lord should emanate from this fact. Faith is strengthened by our engagement with Christ. The more we become closer and closer to him the more we became more of him and less of ourselves. The adoption of the nature of Christ enables us to operate in almost the same wave length as him who gave himself for our redemption. You cannot go beyond your level of spiritual growth. Our faith works in proportion to our level of intimacy with Christ. Faith makes us sharper in all spiritual matters. Scripture tells us that if an Axe is blunt, he that uses it should deploy more power. I have seen some preachers who lose voices trying to cast out devils yet t...

THE WORD OF GOD -BY TAURAI MAKADHO

Scriptural Reference: 2 Timothy   3 verse 16, John 1 verses 1 to 12 , John 6 verse 32, Ephesians 6 verse 17 Revelation 2 verse 17.   The essence of God's word is ambiguously mentioned somewhere in the book of Exodus. When the children craved for food in the wilderness ,The Lord God gave them Manna for forty years every morning except for the sevenths days of the week because they were regarded as Sabbaths of the Lord. This was a shadow of the real bread that gives us spirit life sustenance: the word of God. God's word is new every morning. We have got to gather  and  eat it daily for the nourishment of our inner being. It is in fact the bread of life that gives eternity to those who believe in the saving power that is in Christ Jesus.   God's written word is mainly referred to as scripture. The word bible is taken from a Greek word"biblog" which means a library a compilation of related books. The word "bible" is nowhere found in the bible. 2 Tim...

BORN AGAIN MYSTERY BY TAURAI MAKADHO

The article   is brought to you by Friends and Partners of Christ world Evangelical Movement.   It was written by Taurai Makardho. He is the Lead Pastor and Head Coordinator at Christ world Evangelical Movement. Jesus used this term when he was talking with an outsider who was not part of his disciples. What is appalling about the whole issue is that the Lord did not tell his own to be born again. He only talked about the kingdom.   One thing we ought to take note of is that Jesus used parables and dark speeches when talking to the public and later explain them to hi...
